About the U10 Program
The emphasis of the inter club eight week U10 program is on fostering a love for the sport while developing the FUNdamental skills required to become a competent skier at a competitive level. Competitions are club based with the possibility of some races scheduled with clubs in the surrounding area. This is an introduction to the competitive program with the potential of traveling requirements. Program cost includes entry in the LSCR Classic and a team photo.
Lift tickets for athletes at away AOA league races will be provided to the athlete. Helmets and mouthguards are required at all times when athletes are participating in the LSC Racing program (this includes all practices and races).5 lottery tickets applied to program fees at time of purchase ($100)
Athletes are required to pay their AOA fees (insurance/membership) directly to Alpine Ontario at the time of signing the online waiver along with a “race fee”. Athletes will not be permitted to race if not in good standing with Alpine Ontario.
All athletes participating in the Racer Development, U10 – U21 programs & all camps within our organization are required to wear a mouthguard for all practices and races; any athlete not wearing their mouthguard will not be permitted on snow.Athletes are to provide their own mouthguard.
