Our coaches create a fun and engaging environment focused on developing athletes’ balance skills\, agility\, endurance\, strength\, and core muscles! \nWe are offering 2 programs this year: \nRD Focused Dryland Training – 8-week program \nSeptember 14 – November 9 (excludes October 12 – Thanksgiving) \nSaturdays 10am – noon \nThis program is focused on the Learn-to-Train stage of the Long Term Athlete Development Model getting young skiers ready for the upcoming ski season. The focus is on developing flexibility\, agility\, balance\, and coordination. We aim to provide a well-balanced program of challenging\, success-orientated activities\, using mainly play based activities to enhance body awareness and develop agility and coordination. All programs will be held in a fun outdoor environment at Boler Mountain. \n  \nU Team Dryland Training – 10-week program \nSeptember 14 – November 23 (excludes October 12 – Thanksgiving) \nSaturdays 10am – noon \nThis program is focused on the Train-to-Train stage of the Long Term Athlete Development Model with ski racers at different levels of physical development. This will include more formalized ski conditioning tailored for off-snow training sessions that include both aerobic and strength trainability depending on the skier. Racers will be taught and encouraged to continue to practice fundamental movement skills and maintain flexibility\, speed and strength outside of formalized training sessions to get ready for the upcoming race season. This program will run for 10 weeks at Boler Mountain and be moved indoors as needed as we get closer to the start of the racing season

DESCRIPTION:The Race\nThe Coaches will have the course set by 7:30 PM. All Racers should meet at the top by 7:30 for course inspection with any coach. Racing will commence at 7:45 with usually the least experienced racers going first to allow them the best snow and the least amount of ruts. \nAfter inspection\, Racers are to line up at the starting hut.  The starter will announce your name to the timers below who will record your time after your run.  There is no need for numbers and bibs.  No one starts a second run until all have completed their first run. \nIf you arrive late after racing has commenced\, conduct your own inspection from the side at a safe distance always watching up hill.  Then take warm up runs and join the line when you are ready.  If you arrive in line and the second run has already commenced\, move to the front of the line so you can get your runs in. Even if you arrive late\, we want you to come and get some race experience.  = \nIf you are not ready to try the race course\, please advise your Coach and we will make sure you get instruction to support your continued learning. \n  \nAfter The Race \nTeam C is hosting an event in the Race Hut! We will meet together for some food\, fun and race results!

DESCRIPTION:The Race\nThe Coaches will have the course set by 7:30 PM. All Racers should meet at the top by 7:30 for course inspection with any coach. Racing will commence at 7:45 with usually the least experienced racers going first to allow them the best snow and the least amount of ruts. \nAfter inspection\, Racers are to line up at the starting hut.  The starter will announce your name to the timers below who will record your time after your run.  There is no need for numbers and bibs.  No one starts a second run until all have completed their first run. \nIf you arrive late after racing has commenced\, conduct your own inspection from the side at a safe distance always watching up hill.  Then take warm up runs and join the line when you are ready.  If you arrive in line and the second run has already commenced\, move to the front of the line so you can get your runs in. Even if you arrive late\, we want you to come and get some race experience.  = \n  \nIf you are not ready to try the race course\, please advise your Coach and we will make sure you get instruction to support your continued learning. \n  \nAfter The Race \nTeam B is hosting a Summer Destination Vacation event in the Race Hut! We will meet together for some food\, fun and race results!
