DESCRIPTION:There are two Ski Tuning Clinics being offered on Nov 30th.   If you are new to ski tuning and waxing you can attend either clinic that fits your schedule on Nov 30th.   If you are looking for more advanced and race specific tuning and waxing techniques then you should attend the afternoon session at the LSC Racing Hut with Ava Duffield and Jim McManus. \nSource for Sports Clinic Saturday Nov 30th at Boler Mountain in the Chalet: \nSource for Sports is offering a Ski Tuning Clinic from 10:00 until 12:00 noon.   This program offers a good overview of the basics of ski tuning. This clinic has typically targeted recreational skiers\, ski instructors\, and ski patrol. \nLSC Racing Race Ski Tuning and Waxing Clinic Saturday Nov 30th 1:30 -3:30 in the Race Hut. \nFor a race specific tuning and waxing clinic please join Ava Duffield and Jim McManus for race ski prep and waxing techniques.   This clinic targets more advanced tuning techniques targeted at race skis and how to select waxes for race day.  This year we will also discuss the use of spray waxes as an alternative prep for those travelling to away races after training all day on Saturdays. \nPlease consider attending one of the above clinics to build on your knowledge base.

DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nWe have a strong program that is focused on improving athlete performance\, offering a fun and challenging environment where our athletes can thrive\, and fostering their love of the sport. \n  \nThe programs start dates are as follows: \n–        Racer Development – Saturday January 4th \n–        U10 – U16 – Saturday January 4th \n–        U18 – Sunday January 5th \n–        Adult Racing – Thursday January 2nd \nRegister now! \n  \nHere are the details: \nRacer Development Program  \nOn hill sessions will be: \n·        Weeknights (Monday or Thursday): 6:00 – 8:00 \n·        Saturdays: 9:30 – 2:30 (1 hour lunch break) \nCompetitive Program \nOn hill sessions will be: \nU10  \n·        Monday* 6:00 – 8:00 \n·        Saturday 9:00 – 2:30 (1 hour lunch break) \nU12 \n·        Tuesday* 6:00 – 8:00 \n·        Saturday and Sunday 8:30 – 1:00 (No lunch break\, we will have shorter nutrition breaks) \n·        For race days\, training will run until 3:00 \n·        Travel racing details are still being confirmed by AOA and schedule will be shared closer to the season \nU14 & U16 \n·        Tuesday* 6:00 – 9:00 \n·        Saturday and Sunday 8:30 – 1:00 (No lunch break\, we will have shorter nutrition breaks ) \n·        On race days\, training will run until 3:00 \n·        Travel racing details are still being confirmed by AOA and schedule will be shared closer to the season \nU18 \nThis year\, we hope to continue with a U18 team again. We know that many of our athletes at this stage have also transitioned to coaching\, so we are offering a training schedule that meets the needs of training\, coaching\, and of course educational pursuits. \n·        Tuesday* 6:00 – 9:00 \n·        Friday 6:00 – 9:00 \n·        Sunday 8:30 – 1:00 (No lunch break\, we will have shorter nutrition breaks) \nU18 racers that plan to coach this year will work one weekday (Monday or Thursday) and Saturdays (with exception of race days). \n* Please note that we use senior coaches for our competitive teams. Weeknights are based on coach availability and are subject to change before the season starts. \n  \nLSC Racing Team Jackets \nCompetitive teams will be outfitted in LSC Karbon team racing jackets!  Going forward we will only be providing the option to rent a jacket unless the athlete already owns a jacket.  \n  \nAdult Racing \nOn hill sessions will be: \nTuesdays: 7:30 – 9:30 \nThursdays: 7:30 – 9:30 \nRefund Policy\nRegular refund policy is in place for any individual that withdrawals from the program\, no refunds available after December 31st\, 2024. \n. \nLSC Racing is committed to creating equitable opportunities for participation in our programming.
